I was browsing around on the Nighthawk yahoo group and I came across this picture. I really like the way this looks.

I think I'm going to do something similar. I'll black out the side plastics but I'll also black out the windshield, maybe. It will look great with my Semi-Fender Eliminator.

I also took some quick shots of the bike with the actual homemade Semi-Fender Eliminator on it.

Broke the bike today

So, I was walking by my bike in the garage today, and I bumped in to the rear left turn signal. The 22 year old rubber mount couldn't take the stress and it popped right off.

So I'm looking at it and I'm thinking "hmm, fender eliminator". So after a bit of research and a couple emails I get this picture:


Not mine, but similar to what I did, and what I will do (the mini-signals).
But I'll also drop the two mirrors down to one bar-end 2" mirror on the left handgrip.
